Who am I?

I could start in a polished, professional LinkedIn style: “I am proud to share…” Or in a classic CV manner: “I am a professional with extensive experience in…”

But instead, I will try to start from the heart.

I am a woman in my 50s, on a continuous journey to discover whether meaning and purpose are singular, or if they have multiple facets in the magic of life.

I am a proud mother—my daughter and son never cease to inspire me to be a better person. I am a partner to my high-school sweetheart, the man who has been my constant support through life’s ups and downs, making it possible for me to achieve most of what I had, so far. I am a daughter, grappling with the complexities of being with an aging parent and reflections of what it truly means to grow old. I am a sister, a friend, grateful to have incredible people in my life who have shaped me as much as I have, hopefully shaped them.

By passport, I am Romanian, yet I still wrestle with being East European, frustrated by the slow pace of societal evolution. I like to believe my identity is shaped by a broader, international perspective, thanks to the 16 years I spent living in four different countries. In an era where extreme nationalism and extremism are growing like weeds, still embracing global diversity feels almost rebellious. But for me, feeling connected to a world beyond borders is essential.

I value authenticity, freedom with responsibility, curiosity, collaboration, fairness, and love. I believe we can create stronger communities only through togetherness. Togetherness makes us more complete and helps us build our culture and our society. We foster togetherness through connection, and we build connection by striving to become the best versions of ourselves—knowing ourselves well, understanding how to lead, transform, and grow ourselves and our relationships.

I was born in the North of Romania. My childhood was like a dance between the absurdities of a communist country and the joy and optimism of my young age. In my early 20s, I moved to Bucharest, eager to embrace the opportunities of a newly free Romania. My generation was hungry for change, and we seized every chance that came our way.

My career led me beyond my country of origin, exploring opportunities in South Asia and China, where I continued to grow both professionally and personally. Built within the fashion and apparel supply chain, my career in the corporate world was filled with fantastic experiences. I led diverse teams across five countries, navigating both the excitement and challenges of managing large supply chain portfolios.

Throughout this journey, I was most drawn to finding authentic connections with those around me and discovering ways to grow together. This passion naturally led me to explore personal development topics and getting into coaching and mentoring, where I now dedicate my energy.

Today, I live in Bucharest, reconnecting with my roots while embracing new ways to connect with my purpose. I am a practitioner certified of the International Coaching Institute Australia, and a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). I bring 30 years of experience, out of which over 20 years of international leadership experience managing operations and supply chains, and 16 years of multicultural exposure. I specialize in helping individuals achieve their personal and professional goals.

I do this through conversations that help identify and leverage their strengths, overcome obstacles, and connect with their values. If you are reading this, you likely have an interest in personal growth, curiosity about new possibilities, or questions about which path to take. If you’re ready to challenge yourself, to start your journey toward growth and self-improvement, let’s connect and create something extraordinary together!
